Some Frequently Asked Questions About Our Dinner:

What is your ticket policy? Due to the nature of our event, your ticket purchase is non refundable. We are not able to give refunds for cancellations; however tickets are transferable to another party for the same dinner. Tickets will only be honored for the dinner for which they were issued. If you cannot attend the dinner and wish to transfer your reservation to another guest/party, please contact us with the revised information prior to the event.

How Can I Contact You? DINNER ON THE FARM is a collaboration between Christopher’s Table and Marini’s Farm. Questions about the event may be emailed to christophers_table@comcast.net or you may call Christopher’s Table at 978.356.6166

What Should I Wear To The Event? Dinner is literally on the farm. Therefore, the terrain will be uneven, dusty, and possibly muddy so please wear practical shoes. Dress is typically casual, but most importantly we urge you to dress comfortably. Dinners will be held rain or shine, so please wear or bring appropriate layers. Sunscreen, parasols, sweaters/wraps and sunglasses are all appropriate accessories. Also, given the season, time of day and our locations it can’t hurt to pack some bug spray as well – just in case.

What Happens At The Dinners – What Time Do They Begin And How Long Do They Last?

The evenings begin with a complimentary cocktail at 6:00 p.m. where you will then be transported by hay ride to our dinner location. Guests are then seated under a tent at two long tables and dine by candlelight. A typical dinner consists of approximately five courses (some family style) and usually last two and half to three hours. In addition, the dinner provides a wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with local farmer, Michael Marini and local chef, Christopher DeStefano.

What’s For Dinner? All of the food for the dinners comes from local producers, much of it from Marini’s Farm itself. Your chef and farmer will be working together to harvest and utilize the freshest ingredients for your dinner that showcase the week’s and even the day’s best produce. Because the ingredients are sourced daily we are unable to publish a menu in advance. However, we can assure you that you will have an incredible dining experience with the most local, fresh and flavorful foods available!!

Can You Accommodate Persons With Dietary Restrictions? Our dinner may have courses that are served family-style and everyone dines at the same table. While many of our courses may accommodate a vegetarian diet, this is a difficult event to accommodate vegans or persons with other dietary restrictions such as food allergies.

How Many People Attend Each Dinner? We have enough seats for 100 people at each dinner.
Can You Accommodate Children At The Dinner? Due to the length of the dinners we do not consider them suitable for young children.

Can You Recommend A Place to Stay? Our dinner has already attracted people from quite a distance. We are more than happy to make recommendations on local lodging convenient to the dinner location.

Can I Purchase Dinners at the Farm Gift Certificates? Yes, you can purchase tickets to give as a gift. Please notify us of the recipient’s name when you receive our confirmation email.
